Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana Cuba. The family moved to Miami after she reached two years old. Ana was lived in Havana in the Cuban capital. She moved to Miami with her family at age two after moving out of Havana. Ana Maria Polo, born in Habana Cuba was an anchor for the well-known Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" it was the first Spanish language show nominated for a Daytime Entertainment Emmy (r). In 2015, she placed at number one for Spanish at 4pm for key demos. Polo was born on the 11th of 1959, Havana Cuba, graduated from Florida International University in Political Sciences. After that, she received her PhD in law from the University of Miami and practiced law for twenty years within the City of Miami. She earned the PhD from The University of Miami, and after that, she practiced law for the next twenty years in Miami. Polo was first shown to viewers on television in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas (2001) and other court shows in which the legal skills of her was showcased. Literature Works and Accolades 1958 novel Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in the year 1960. Breast cancer survivors, Polo frequently speaks and raises funds to support the charity. Polo has been an advocate in support of LGBT concerns. She holds a law degree from The University of Miami School of Law in Florida, and is an Florida Bar Member.
